Thank you for sharing your beautiful art! Here's my question: About comics: what kind of stories do you like to read (and draw) the most?
Oh gosh! Another cool question! And thank you so much! <3 * v *
Well, I’ll admit I was never into comics much until about a year and a half ago. I had been following ONE webcomic at the time (Sweet Hamletmachine’s Starfighter) and other than that I wasn’t really in the comic world. I mean, I read manga as a kid and stuff but that’s about it. But one of my roommates was a sequential art major and was BIG into superheros. And gradually I started to get into superhero comics. I’m more of a DC fan than anything. So I read a lot of DC comics. As far as what I draw the most, I actually only recently got into drawing comics. I never had the patience for them until my collab partner and I sort of hit it off. Though, I can’t say that the way I comic is much inspired by what I read but more who I work with. I want to read more though and do some individual comics eventually the future.
I feel like these are really long answers. D: But I hope I’ve answered to your satisfaction! 8 v 8
Hello there! So I've been following you for a while on DeviantArt and I absolutely love the feel of your work. I really admire the style and the look of it - there's something about it that's really very attractive. Since you called for questions, how about this one; How was it that you were able to develop such a striking style? Was it something that came naturally, or was it a deliberate evolution?
Oh my gosh, thank you. * o * I really don’t know what to say. That makes me feel happy!
I think the question is a little hard but I’m gonna do my best! I have always felt that my style is a constant product of my surrounding and influences (at least in the art world). This is partially due to the fact that I am never really satisfied with the way that my art looks so I’m constantly pushing myself to improve in some small way every time I draw something. So yes, and yes. I’d definitely say that I’ve discovered many happy accidents when working something and those things have stuck with me naturally, but I also have heavy driving idols and inspirations and to say that I don’t look at them and deliberately become influenced or push myself wouldn’t necessarily be true.
;asdkjfhkajsdf WORD VOMIT! I hope that answered your question.Thank you so much for asking! <3
I always feel like going and thanking my Tumblr followers individually for them following my page. Especially because I really feel like I don’t do much with it which makes me feel like I’m disappointing someone. Also I don’t know HOW to thank people without sending them a creepo private message. So thank you followers. I really appreciate it.
Also…I never get messages on here. So ronery. So lets also turn this post into an “ask Lochi a question and see if she answers” post. * v *
