Idk if any of my followers would actually be interested in a cheap commission?
I found myself in a bit of a situation at the present moment, I am heading back to Oregon on the 20th and I do not really have a lot of money to my name right now…I need to set the cat (HANK) up with some litter and…
This is my roomate! We are both taking commissions. Hers are adorable and affordable and she’s relaly good about them. We need to help our kitty and get him situated for a while. So yes! These are her commissions.
Mine are here and they are only $10.

Depends on the level of detail and which commission option you’re interested in. Usually 6-7 dollars more but on some of the more detailed commissions I tend to charge price and a half for an extra character. 8)
Hey, I've been staring at your art for quite some time, it's so incredible... I was thinking about commissioning you and was wondering about a few things. 1) Would I have to pay before or after you draw the picture? 2) Do you draw OCs? 3) Would you send me at least a copy of the drawing (so I can frame it and stare at it relentlessly, lol ) Thanks, Angie

For your first question, I accept it up front. I didn’t used to but you know the saying, a few bad apples were spoil the whole bunch. I used to accept payment after I did the work. But I found that there were people that tended not to pay because they’d changed their mind in the time between getting a slot and me finishing. This is the reason I do it the way I do it.
For your second, Yes! I do draw OCs, absolutely!
And thirdly, if you would like a sketch or ink then yes, I can send it to you for a postage fee ($5). It is five because I have to put it in a protective envelope and pay for stamps and the like. But if you would REALLY like something like that. For a digital commission I could MAKE a print and send it to you ($7) BUT I usually send a high quality jpg. file that costs like…$5 less to take to Kinkos and have a nice print made.

What do you usually prefer in terms of what a commissioner asks for, specific requests or general themes with more creative freedom?
I try my very best to give the commissioner what the ask for. If they specify a pose or certain colors I will certain stick as close to that as I can. I usually assume that people choose to commission me because they like my drawing style. But in the past I’ve gotten people tell me that they wanted something to be more anime or this or that. Sometimes people don’t really know what they want, they just know they want a character so that’s where I take creative freedoms.
But if someone asks for something I do my best to do THAT thing.
I never know which commissions I will enjoy MOST doing until I’m doing them.

I realize that my followers always take a dive whenever I post this or this and I very immensely appreciate the few reblogs I’ve gotten as well.
I never take on commissions because I feel like taking on commissions. I take them on because I NEED to take them on. Come January I will be in a much better and stable financial situation where I can take care of my cat (aside from feeding and watering and loving him) and my bills and my rent and you know…all those things that I need or want.
Its especially bad in the summer and this time of year however, and its very important that I get the things that I need to get done, done so that I can go home and see my family for the first time in a year which has been long and crappy. (But not the worst thanks to some very sweet and supportive friends.)
If you are or know someone who is interested in a commission for themselves or a gift of or something I’d appreciate it if you took a look at my links above. If I manage to fill up this batch it may be the last one that I do for a very very long time.

I realize I’ve fallen out of touch with most of my IMing friends and I know I follow some of them here.
I just recently got skype because as I understand it, its the new THING. No one signs into AIM or MSN much anymore.

Kitty Commissions
Hank needs to go back to the vet for his Kitty Crones. I’m leaving in three two weeks and need to do this as soon as possible. He should have gone for a checkup several months ago but it had to be put off for the same reasons I can’t afford it now. I’m taking on another batch of commissions.
